- עֲרַבְתָּאf. = h. עֲרָבָה I, willow, esp. the willow branches carried in procession on the seventh day of Succoth (v. הוֹשַׁעְנָא); יומא דע׳, or ע׳ (sub. יום) the seventh day of Succoth. Succ.34a, v. חִלְפְּתָא. Erub.29b, v. סוּגְיָינָא.Y.Succ.IV, beg.54b דלא העבדון … ולא ע׳ בשבתא that you do not appoint the blowing of the Shofar (the first day of Tishri) on a Sabbath, nor the day of the ʿĂrabta on a Sabbath.
